Gröeg

Plate 34 Page 77 Groeg Very little is known about this particular goblin. Some say it inhabits an imaginary world, where it wanders about confusing dreams and complicating people's glimpses of the Truth. Others believe that Gröeg is simply one of those mischievous little goblins that substitute margarine for the butter in the dish, or make you think you're about to drink a cup of tea when it's really coffee. Whatever its true nature, one can safely say that Gröeg lurks on the fringes of awareness and is always late for his lunch.
Gröeg is also credited with having had a part in the Great Collapse of Good Governance in the Labyrinth (see pages 18, 62, 64, and 66) although, once again, no one is quite sure which part.
